“I was so sad and a bit in a fog. Working with Annie has helped my life tremendously. She has helped me with tools to walk through my grief. My life has changed for the better. I feel much more clarity in life. When I start to spiral into my grief, I pull out the tools she has for me to change my way of thinking and feel better.”
Grieving the passing of her daughter
“It is said "there are gifts in all tragedy”. Marc Adams and I met in the worst possible club any human could ever belong to — the bereaved parents club. Marc is one of the gifts that appeared in my life since the loss of my daughter, Kyah Rayne. He has helped me beyond words on my healing journey — from a bereaved parent to a shining light parent. I am forever indebted and grateful to him for his wisdom, friendship, guidance and loving compassion.”
Shining Light Parent of Kyah Rayne
"Annie helped me so much with my anticipatory grief, and then anxiety after my friend's death. I'm not a computer person, but the Zoom format worked well and my grief gradually decreased as the sessions went on. Feeling much better by the end of Week 11".
When our 15-year-old died unexpectedly, our whole world fell apart. We didn’t know so much pain was possible. We couldn’t imagine ever feeling better. The pain was so deep and so intense.
Along our grief journey, though, we learned and discovered powerful tools to help lessen the pain and feel more like ourselves. Now… we share this knowledge with others to help them move beyond their loss.
